Satsman’s Satslock Game Lets You Win Sats Just By Predicting Bitcoin’s Price

Satsman’s Satslock Game Lets You Win Sats Just By Predicting Bitcoin’s Price

I recently recruited someone to Satsman face to face, which was a first for me. We were together in person and she asked me about Satsman, so I simply opened the Satsman app on my phone, brought up my referral QR code and let her scan it with her phone. A couple of minutes later she had created her account and was ready to start completing the daily missions.

She decided to join Satsman as a free member because free members can earn satoshi every day by completing missions, building streaks and earning satoshi commissions on the activities of their referrals. And that brings me to one of the features I particularly like about Satsman: Satslock, a Bitcoin price prediction game that gives free members the same opportunity to compete for Satoshi prizes as Pro and Pro Max members.

I’ve actually done rather well with Satslock myself. In one week I finished fourth in the weekly rankings and won 1,500 sats, having already taken first place on one of the days for another 5,000 sats.

So let’s take a look at how Satslock works, why I think it’s particularly interesting for free members, and how you can get involved.

What is Satslock?

Satslock is essentially a Bitcoin price prediction game. Every day, you make a prediction about where the Bitcoin price will be, and your eventual ranking depends on how close your prediction comes to the actual result.

The interesting thing is that this isn’t restricted to Pro or Pro Max members. Free members have equal access to Satslock, so you can participate in the game without paying for a Satsman membership.

That makes it particularly interesting if you’re just getting started with Satsman. You can join for free, complete the daily missions, earn your initial Satoshi rewards and, at the same time, have a go at predicting where Bitcoin’s price is heading.

And if you happen to be good at it, there are additional Satoshi rewards available.

I won 6,500 sats in one week

I’ve actually had some success with Satslock myself, which is why I wanted to make a video about it rather than simply mention it in passing.

I received an email telling me that I had finished fourth in the weekly Satslock rankings for the week of September 28 through October 4. That earned me 1,500 Satoshi.

But that wasn’t my only result that week. On one of the days I actually finished first, which earned me another 5,000 Satoshi. So, altogether, I won 6,500 sats from Satslock during that particular week.

Obviously, I’m not suggesting that anyone should expect to win 6,500 sats every week. It’s a competition, and your results will depend on how accurately you predict the Bitcoin price. Nevertheless, I think it’s a pretty nice opportunity, particularly when you consider that you can participate as a free member.

You don’t have to predict Bitcoin’s price exactly

One of the things I found interesting when I looked at the weekly results was how close some of the leading predictions were. The people at the very top of the table were sometimes only a few dollars away from the relevant Bitcoin price, which is pretty impressive considering that Bitcoin can move thousands of dollars in a relatively short period.

My own average prediction was around $246 away from the average price, yet that was still good enough to put me in fourth place and earn the 1,500-sat prize. The winner was around $187 away, so I wasn’t exactly miles behind, even though I clearly wasn’t going to beat the people who were getting within a few dollars.

Of course, I have no idea whether those people are making sophisticated calculations, following technical analysis, or simply getting lucky. Probably the answer varies from person to person, but that’s part of the fun of the game.

How does the Satslock competition work?

The daily competition is straightforward. You make your Bitcoin price prediction and win 5,000 sats if your prediction is the closest to that day’s closing price.

There are also weekly rankings, and you need to complete at least five daily forecasts during the week to qualify. Your predictions are then assessed according to how close they were, giving you an average performance that determines your position in the weekly rankings. I won the 1,500 satoshi price for coming fourth in the weekly rankings.

There are monthly rankings as well. If you complete 24 price predictions during a month, you can qualify for the monthly ranking, giving regular players another reason to keep making their predictions throughout the month.

So Satslock isn’t simply a case of making one lucky prediction and disappearing. If you want to compete for the weekly and monthly rankings, you need to get into the habit of making a prediction every day if you can. Consistency is the key to the weekly and monthly prizes.

What if you don’t know where Bitcoin is going?

That’s probably the first question that occurs to most people.

After all, if predicting the Bitcoin price were easy, we’d all be sitting on enormous Bitcoin fortunes by now.

Personally, I don’t think you need to pretend that you have some special ability to predict the market. You can look at the current Bitcoin price, check market sentiment and consider what you’ve seen happening recently before making your best estimate. Even if you get it wrong, you can come back the following day and have another go.

In the video, for example, I had predicted that Bitcoin might rally a little and finish just below $84,000. At the time I made the prediction, that seemed reasonable to me, but Bitcoin had fallen a bit more. Even so, a late rally could do me a favour!

That’s really what makes Satslock fun. You’re putting your own judgement to the test, and over time you may even find that you’re becoming better at judging the short-term direction of the market.

Why I think Satslock is particularly interesting for free members

This is probably the most important point I wanted to make with this video.

My latest recruit joined Satsman as a free member, which means she can get started without having to pay for a Pro or Pro Max membership. She can complete the ordinary daily missions and earn the associated Satoshi rewards, and she can also participate in Satslock alongside the paid members.

That gives a free member a genuine opportunity to win additional Satoshi through the game. You don’t have to upgrade simply to get access to Satslock, and I think that’s a useful feature for anyone who is still deciding whether Satsman is something they want to get more deeply involved with.

You can simply join Satsman as a free member, get a feel for the platform first and decide later whether you want to upgrade.

Satslock is only one part of Satsman

Satslock is the feature I’ve concentrated on here, but it’s only one part of what Satsman offers. The platform has its regular daily missions, as well as additional games and activities that become available at higher membership levels.

For example, Pro and Pro Max members can play the SatsCipher word discovery game, while Pro Max members can also play the SatsStack number stacking game. Those games give paid members additional ways to earn even more Satoshi every day, but I think it’s important not to overlook what is available at the free level.

For someone who is simply curious about Satsman, being able to join for free and participate in Satslock is a pretty good place to start.

What about becoming a Satsman Founder?

I’ve deliberately left this until the end because you don’t need to become a Founder to play Satslock. In fact, you don’t even need to become a Pro or Pro Max member. The game is available to free members as well.

However, if you’ve been following my Satsman journey on this blog and you want to get the fullest possible experience from the platform, there is another option worth considering.

I became one of the first 14 Satsman Founders at the beginning of the year. A Founder position cost $99 per year. There are only 500 Founder positions available, so this isn’t something that will remain open indefinitely, and the number of positions remaining is now considerably smaller than when I joined.

I certainly wouldn’t suggest that anyone should spend money they can’t comfortably afford. But if you’ve looked into Satsman, like what you see and have the resources to invest in becoming more deeply involved, the remaining Founder positions are worth investigating while they’re still available.

For everyone else, there’s no need to rush. Join Satsman and start with the free membership, complete the missions, play Satslock and see what you think. You can always decide later whether you want to take things further.

Cheers!
