Spring Deadhang Challenge 2 – Can I Skywalk??

There is an old song that goes something like this,

He’d fly through the air with the greatest of ease,
That daring young man on the flying trapeze.

Well, a “Sky Ladder” is a less mobile structure than a flying trapese, but even so I thought I ought to try and swing from one rung to the next, which really was a case of trying to fly before I could hang.

Here’s how my attempt went off:

And here it is on TikTok if you prefer that particular medium of foolishness:

Can I Really Hit My Targets By Mid April?

What do you think, looking at this feeble attempt at being Tarzan? Can I really hit my 3 targets of

  • 60 second deadhang
  • 6 chin-ups
  • 4 pull-ups

before college term begins in the middle of April?

Sweat Equity Crypto!

I don’t know about the physical benefits of all this tomfoolery, but I like how I can turn any activity into crypto earnings on the Hive blockchain simply by recording the activity and blogging about it afterwards.

I posted on

  • Actifit for the obvious physical activity involved,
  • CTPTalk because there is a brand-building, online biz and crytpo-earning aspect to it,
  • Alive because it is part of my life right now
  • ProofOfBrain because brainy people tell me that exercise is a good thing.

Later, I can share one of those Hive frontend posts on LEO threads and tweet it out with POSH (using the #hive tag to get it seen by POSH).

Skipping Rope

Back at home after my adventure in the park, I ordered a skipping rope; one of those new-fangled ones with a rope of twisted wire inside a plastic sheath, and a digital skip counter and timer embedded in one of the handles, and the option of inserting metal bars inside the said handles to give them some extra heft.

But right now, I think it is time for a lie down.

Cheers!
