Over the last two days I have made just three demo-trades, two on Sunday 17th and one today, Monday 18th January, for a total profit of $275 (in demo cash). Not too bad for a #RookieTrader who only trades part time and does not spend all day glued to the charts.
Just In Time For Another Punt On Polkadot…
On Sunday I opened my second trade in Polkadot. Polkadot has caught the attention of investors over the last couple of weeks and surged from around $5 on 27th December 2020 to over $17 this weekend. Actually, I thought I might have been a bit too late as the price began to wobble, triggering the “auto invest.” It recovered a few hours later and I closed out the trade $98 to the good.
The Bitcoin Squeeze…
The other position I opened yesterday was a good old long trade in Bitcoin. But the market was really treading water for a lot of yesterday; it felt more like treading in quicksand. Again, the “auto invest” was triggered several times, but eventually there was a mini rally, enough for me to squeeze out a $27 profit with Bitcoin just 27 cents higher than when I opened the trade.
Easy Money Today!
Life was a lot easier today. I made just one trade, going long on Bitcoin again, but more aggressively, with a $500 punt on 35x leverage (compared to $100 punts with 10 or 11x leverage yesterday).
The market wobbled for a bit without triggering “auto trade,” and then recovered. Before I knew it the trade had automatically closed out at 30% for a $150 profit. Wery nice!
As a result, my profit has grown to $3,630
Come along for the ride as I try to learn how to trade my way to a profit!
