Splinterlands Guild and Land Developments
Today, I added another goal, consequential to my becoming the active co-leader of a Splinterlands guild – see this blog post:
My new goal is to upgrade our guild store to level 3 by donating 23,910 Guild Points, which I can get by swapping DEC. That’s something I intend to get around to doing once I’ve accumulated enough DEC to get my Land workers working the land!
Yep, I bought a couple of common plots of Splinterlands land in March. Although I want to cultivate my land, it’s more of a backburner project and so I’m not setting any land-based goals for 2025 – at least, not yet.
Buying land put me in the market for DEC for the first time ever! I have never held very much DEC, and had hardly any when I bought those two land plots. Happily, I had a few thousand sats in my V4V wallet thanks to satoshi-earning upvotes my posts had received on the OneBitcoinClub.org front-end so I was able to convert them into Hive and then into DEC. Here’s one of my plots, where I built an iron mine and have been mining iron for a few days and putting it into the DEC/IRON liquidity pool:
Good Progress With My PWR Liquidity Pool Target
Liquidating my Alive / SwapHive liquidity pool shares freed up some SwapHive for me to grab more PWR. I also sold off a few more CTPSB tokens when the market price for PWR briefly dropped below 1 Hive on Hive-Engine, so March was a good month for my PWR growth, if not so great for my CTPSB goal for 2025.
CTPSB 2025
I’m hoping to be able to rescue my CTPSB position and hit my 2025 target later this year if and when Bitcoin starts hitting new all time highs. I’m still confident that it will start to move up again because the fundamentals have never been better for crypto even though there are a lot of short-term panicky sellers out there⚠️ 😨 🤣.

My Monthly HP and HBD Progress
I’m pleased to see that my Hive Power accumulation rate picked up in March. Here’s an approximate record of my progress over the first three months of the year:
- January = +71 HP 🙂
- February = +63 HP 😐
- March = +123 HP 🥳
As for HBD, while I’m consistently earning over 2.5 HBD per day on average, January is my record month for accumulating HBD so far in 2025:
- January = +147 HBD 😊
- February = +75 HBD 😑
- March = +85 HBD 😐
So there’s a challenge: See if I can add 150 or more HBD to my savings in a single month in Q2!
